News:  Using authentication with InterNews


Q.  InterNews tells me I can't post because it's unable to perform
    authentication.  How can I fix this?

A.  InterNews tries to find out that you really are who you say your are
    before letting you post.  Tell InterNews to use:

         - POP Authentication

    ...and supply your mail address -- for example:

         mickey@halcyon.com

    ...and your password -- the same one you use to log in -- in InterNews
    Setup.

    Other newsreaders let you avoid supplying authentication information;
    this is good.  An example is NewsWatcher.
