UNIX:  Bypassing the Shell menu


Q.  How do I stop that menu from coming up every time I log into my Shell
    account?

A.  Edit your .login file and delete the last line, which looks like this:

         /usr/local/bin/Menu     # Delete this line if you don't want our Menu
 
    The next time you log in, you'll go straight to the shell prompt.  If you
    ever want to run the shell again, just type:

         menu

    ...at the shell prompt.
