Our system requirements for dialup passwords must contain between 6-8, a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters, plus at least 1 digit (can't be at the beginning or the end) to make it as difficult as possible for other people to guess other's passwords. Passwords can be changed by calling Tech Support, or you can
Telnet
into our system (telnet king.halcyon.com). If you have Win95, you can
for instructions with screenshots.
When online, it is recommended to not use the same password if you have additional accounts or logins elsewhere. Also, never use your NWNexus login/password when you go to a public FTP site to download software such as
ftp.wustl.edu
. Anonymous should be the username used on those types of systems, and any email address can usually be used as the password.
